Musso & Frank Grill Featured in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”

Whether in search of a second-to-none steak or yearning for the planet’s best martini, Musso & Frank Grill has been the go-to spot for the past century for everyone from Ernest Hemingway and Charlie Chaplin to Keith Richards, Johnny Depp and Mila Kunis. The iconic bar and dining room has also served as an unmistakable backdrop for some of Tinseltown’s most memorable movies. Add Quentin Tarantino’s newly-released Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to that list. The below photo from the film starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Pacino is featured in our forthcoming book The Musso & Frank Grill ($40), which we’re publishing for the fourth-generation owners of Hollywood’s oldest restaurant.

The book, authored by Michael Callahan with contributions from David Futch, photography by Jonpaul Douglass and illustrations by Rick Plummer, shares the stories and recipes from a script 100 years in the making. Best-selling mystery novelist Michael Connelly also provides a fitting introduction to The Musso & Frank Grill, paying proper homage to those perfect martinis. The book will be available for purchase this October. In the meantime, enjoy a preview of it here.
