23 May Sneak Peek: Debut Cookbook by Chef Michael Kramer Will be Available Summer 2024
The long-awaited debut cookbook by celebrated Greenville, S.C. chef Michael Kramer will be available this September. Jianna (Story Farm, $40) pays homage to the food of Italy and features more than 100 recipes that span Kramer’s esteemed culinary career, including stints in the kitchens of celebrity chefs Wolfgang Puck and Roland Passot, as well as his tenure as opening chef at the legendary McCrady’s in Charleston S.C. The book also shares the secrets behind dozens of fan favorites from the book’s namesake restaurant Jianna, which Kramer owns and operates in downtown Greenville, including Spaghetti TBG, Char-Grilled Octopus, Potato Gnocchi, Bucatini Carbonara and Limoncello Panna Cotta.
The 304-page book also includes insights about Jianna’s extensive Italian wine and craft cocktail programs by managing partner/GM Andrea Royko and a breathtaking collection of original images by photographer Andrew Cebulka.
